| -Q - Sensor for Combustion Applications |
"-Q" Series Sensors
Sensors with the "-Q" model number extension are
suitable for Combustion applications. All "-Q" sensors
incorporate a flame-arresting/heat-shielding element inside the
sensor housing.
"-NG" and
"-DE" Series Sensors
Sensors with the "-NG" and "-DE" model number
extensions are suitable for Natural Gas and Diesel engines, respectively.
Sensors for Non-Combustion
Applications
Sensors without the incorporated flame-arresting/heat-shielding
element are suitable for Non-Combustion
applications. Model numbers of non-combustion sensors do not
include the application-specific model number extension (i.e.,
"-Q", "-SP", "-NG" or
"-DE").
PSIplug Mountable Sensors -
"-SP" Series
The M3.5x0.6
and M4.5x0.5 sensors (the
"-SP" series) can be used for combustion applications,
when mounted in the PSIplug -
Optrand Measuring Spark Plug. The flame-arresting/heat-shielding
element is incorporated inside the PSIplug.
Pressure Sealing
Washer or sealing ring is required for sensor housings with
shoulder (middle) or flange (back) pressure sealing surfaces.
Sensitivity Values
AutoPSI-S and FiberPSI sensors are shipped with four sensitivity
values, obtained at four different temperatures: 25°C, 100°C,
150°C, and 200°C.
The AutoPSI-TC sensors - temperature compensated - are shipped
with one sensitivity number.
